Dec. 2025: Production Update

One of our committee responsibilities is to review and approve every song that is played on the Musical Fountain. Before any song is submitted for the committee to review, my job is to review our music licensing to determine if we can even play the song under our agreements. Licensing agreements change yearly and it is why past shows have been updated or retired in more recent years.
Thankfully, we still have lots of options for new music and shows! The committee approved over 100 new songs for the 2026 season during the December 2025 meeting. With these new songs, we hope to bring new shows, including:
“I Can’t Drive 55” and show dedicated to cars and road trip tunes.
“Cool Collaborations” featuring dynamic duos and music collaborations.
“Tunes From The Tube” with Television based theme songs.
“90s Night” with dope hits from a decade that was all that and a bag of chips.
“One Direction Night” highlighting what makes the fountain beautiful.

We also approved music to enhance and update shows that were hits in 2025. We are adding new music to help us revamp our:
“Made In America” and “Across the USA” shows.
“Music from Jim Henson” and “Animated Movie Night” updates.
Put on your Boogie Shoes with updates to our “Dance The Night Away” show.
“Oh Canada” and “From A Land Down Under” to expand on our music from around the world.
The committee will continue to review music and shows for the 2026 season. There is more fun to come for the new season.
